I caught Eagle of Death Metal the other night and they were errr mental! Although where the fuck was Josh Homme?? For those of you playing at home he is the dude that makes up half the band and plays in Queens of the Stone Age. Jessie Hughs put on a tip top show though so we couldn’t complain. PLaying the favs like Cherry Cola and I Only Wanna be in LA and a cover of The Stone Brown Sugar! Jessie said he was really sick and had no voice but had been hanging out with bikeys the night b4 fuck yeh love it. Bikers are the new cool. Sorry again about the pics i still haven’t charged my camera…slack bitch.

Last night we ended up at the Rocket Room in Northbridge and there was a death metal band playing Its not often in Perth you can watch that shit. It was such a funny night, i found this written on the toilet door and I thought it was very fitting to the scene. I think some of the shit people write in toilets is classic…

During a Paris Fashion Week fitting in March, Karl Lagerfeld answered some questions for Sigrid Agren about why supermodel status requires a unique face. He’s such an interesting creature, I can’t get enough of him!
Agren: Okay. How do you look when you wake up?
Lagerfeld: That’s why I sleep alone. My hair is curly, and that’s why I have my ponytail. I look like a madman, like something out of a horror movie! But I’m very impeccable and clean before I go to bed. It’s just like right before I’m going out. When I was a child, my mother always told me that you could wake up in the middle of the night and be deathly sick, so you always have to be impeccable. I laugh about it now, but I think everyone should go to bed like they have a date at the door.
Agren: What advice would you give me on becoming a supermodel?
Lagerfeld: That’s very difficult. I’m not a girl, but for a supermodel, my advice is that it’s based on . . . (hits hand on table) no justice. It’s not because you want to be a supermodel, or because your mother thinks you’re a hundred times better than Claudia Schiffer. You can be a model like yourself, very elegant and chic, or you can become a kind of advertising PR person, like Heidi Klum. You can do whatever you want, but it isn’t really your choice. You want to know what the real secret is?
Agren: Tell me.
Lagerfeld: Its not being perfect. What one needs is a face that people can identify in a second. That’s why the girls who were famous in the ‘90s can still work for advertising. People know their faces. The little blonde Russian, Sasha (Pivovarova), has a face people can remember instantly, but for other models today, people think, Is she this one or that one? It’s very difficult, but, you see, in fact there is no advice, because all circumstances are very different. It depends on what you are ready to give, the kind of life you bring, what may be exciting or disappointing . . . You can’t accuse anyone of not doing enough to help you, because, besides yourself, there’s nothing anyone can do. You have to be given what’s needed by nature, and what’s needed is to bring something new. But it’s the most . . . (hits hand on table) unjust . . . (hits hand on table) thing in the world.Agren: Thank you so much, Karl.

Well the last festival of the season is on this weekend, Blue n Roots, and the first festival of next summer has just been announced. Parklife is always such a great day to bring in the season, but not if u go to hard and ur spewing by 6pm haha. There are rumours of Lady Sovereign and MSTRKRFT wooo. Last night I was invited to the launch of Dames & Divas. What a classy night! Great fashion show, yummy canapes and my fav champagne. I don’t normally do ‘Floral’ but I would totally rock these shoes out for the races, they are Fashion’s on the Field winners for sure! Made from Vintage Kimonos, they had shoes, bags, headbands and hair slides. You can only make a limited number out of each kimono so they’re definately unique. Well my life is now complete…i have seen the kills live and been oh so close to Alison Mosshart (weird stalker much?)
