My mimco story….
Once upon a time in a little suburb of Australia a young woman wrote and email to Mimco regarding their rubbish quality products and crazy high prices. hahah
That happened at the beginning of the year if you recall? Anyway I got no reply and only a few weeks ago my mate went into a Mimco shop and asked about their return policy and told the shop girl my story.
These are the bracelets in question
I was most concerned about the white one because i had only had it for a few months. Both had tarnished to a horrible copper colour and the link had broken. Shit house for $90 ey?
The girl in the shop told my friend they were “costume jewelry and shouldn’t be worn everyday”. I don’t wear them everyday because my job does not allow it. My friend gave the shop girl my number. She called me the next day and was very nice. She told me to email Rochelle at Mimco again because they didn’t receive my attached pictures in the last email a few months earlier… hmmm. So I did. Rochelle replied saying i can have a new white bracelet!! excellent. She also said that the tarnishing should not of happened??? Bit weird. The first girl that called me phoned again and organized me a new one from a different shop and I went in and collected it yesterday.
Now i really believe EVERYONE should be letting Mimco know how rubbish their products are because I have heard lots of stories similar to mine. Don’t let them get away with this. Go into a shop and take it back because this shouldn’t be happening. I have to say the girls I dealt with were very nice and helpful so thankyou to them.
I really hope I have inspired some people to get up and take their stuff back.
